Used as throwing weapons and as pikes, spears were an indispensible part of their daily routine. This Viking spear is hand forged of a tough, high carbon steel by Windlass Steelcrafts. Spearhead includes a 4 1/2" steel socket. 9 1/4" long spear head is 2" wide and 3/16" thick. 14 3/4" overall. Wt.-1 lb. The outside diameter of the throat is aprox 1 1/4" Will accept a larger pole once tapered. (Pole can be purchased at hardware store)
