We didn't stop there, but made this damascus knife with 512 layers and a heavy leather sheath, that swallows the knife halfway up the grip. This holds the knife firmly when riding or running, but still allows for a fast draw. Knife is 10 3/4" overall. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®.
